This course teaches student instructors how to train patrol officers and law enforcement teams on the tactical deployment of the ballistic shield in order to deal with barricaded subjects and other high threat situations. Student instructors will master basic handling techniques for individual officers as well as advanced multi-operator employment.
This course is designed for the current or prospective agency firearms instructor. You must have documentation of successful completion of an entry level pistol skills program from a law enforcement agency or training facility. Armed professionals only.
