Where The Professionals Train
How long have you been in business?
We have been in continuous operation since 1990, first as the SIGARMS Academy.  We changed our name to the SIG SAUER Academy in 2008.

Do I have to own / shoot a SIG to take a class?
NO!!  As long as your firearm is safe and in good working order, it and you are welcome to attend.  We don't care what you shoot, we'll just make you a better shooter.  Guaranteed.  (Should a problem arise, we have factory certified armorers on staff from most major firearm manufacturers. Of course, if a problem does arise, we have firearms, holsters, mag pouches, etc. that you can borrow, free of charge.

How does the Pro Shop work?
The Pro Shop is open from 730AM to 6PM Monday through Saturday and 10AM to 6PM Sundays.  We stock genuine SIG SAUER parts, accessories, and firearms. Students of the Academy are offered a 20% discount on all SIG SAUER branded items, including firearms. The purchase must occur on the day(s) of course attendance.  This discount is offered to all Academy students, whether they are attending the New Hampshire facility, a Regional Training Center, or any class offered by the Academy within the United States.  For students attending a course away from the New Hampshire main campus, the instructor will distribute order forms, catalogues, and price lists.  For non-New Hampshire residents that wish to purchase a firearm, the student will need to provide a signed copy of their local dealer's FFL either electronically or by fax.

Are you open to the public?
Yes and No.  We are not a public shooting range.  Our ranges are available only to students currently enrolled in classes, or to shooters attending a scheduled competitive event held at the Academy.  Our matches are open to the public.

The Academy Pro Shop is open to the public, offering SIG SAUER pistols, rifles, accessories and more. Academy students are eligible for a discount.

Are classes open to civilians?
Yes.  More than half of our classes are open to responsible citizens (check the Prerequisites or Schedule for restrictions). If you can legally own a firearm, you are eligible to attend our courses.

What happens if I have to cancel?
We understand that sometimes things happen and we work very hard to accommodate the individual needs of our customers.  Late cancellations make it difficult for us to fill the now vacant seat.  Please review the Cancellation Policy for more details.

What time do classes start?  What time are they over?
Our full day classes begin at 8:30AM and end around 5:00PM.  Our evening classes begin at 6:00PM and end at 10:00PM.  Our 4 hour classes (Epping) have varied start times.  Please check the schedule for your start time if registering for a 4 hour course.

Is there a dining facility at the Academy?
No. There are several sit-down and fast food restaurants within 4 miles of the Academy.  We allow ample time for lunch during our full day classes.

What is the recommended airport?
Manchester Boston Regional Airport (MHT) in Manchester, NH is 30 minutes away.  Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) in Boston, MA is about an hour away, and Portland International Jetport (PWM) in Portland, ME is 1-1/2 hours away.

How do I get from the airport to the Academy?
