Reveille Peak Ranch

The SIG SAUER Academy is pleased to offer our foundational pistol and rifle courses now at Reveille Peak Ranch, located in Burnet, Texas.

These progressive shooting development courses offer a logical evolution designed to build a complete shooter. The Handgun series runs from October 10-14 and the Rifle series runs from October 25-28, 2018.

Reveille Peak Ranch - Handgun 101

New gun owners seeking familiarity and comfort, as well as those wanting to try something different and learn a new skill, will find this course to be the perfect foundation.

Reveille Peak Ranch - Handgun 102

Once students have received foundational handgun training and know how to safely handle a handgun, it’s time to learn how to shoot. This is step 2 in our foundational handgun series.

This intensive one-day class builds upon and refines the skill sets previously established in Handgun 102 while also introducing shooters to new drills, cutting edge concepts, and core shooting principles.

This is a fast-paced course with one common objective: surviving a deadly force encounter armed with a handgun. After a brief assessment, instructors will run the students through the gauntlet of defensive handgun drills designed to increase time on target and performance.

Geared towards the popular modern semi-automatic rifle or carbine, this entry level course guides the new owner or new shooter interested in this type of firearm through the basics of safety, handling, loading, unloading, firing, and maintenance.

This course is a perfect rifle tune-up prior to taking more advanced courses or to simply get back to the basics of foundational semi-automatic rifle training.
