Getting Started

Step 1: Create a Profile

Your account profile creation is the first step in the registration process and it is required to attend any class. User accounts are individual only and tied to a unique email address that cannot be shared with another user. 

Step 2: Find a Class

There are several ways to find the class that best suits your needs. You can navigate through the Course Groups, then scroll through the Classes in each section, OR you can use Filters on our Calendar to narrow down your options and identify classes by schedule.

Step 3: Legal Requirements

All students must upload a copy of legal credentials, or purchase a background check and follow the instructions for completion.

All applicants must be US citizens (please call 603.610.3411 for non-US citizen registrations) and are required to provide ONE of the following, whether your selected course is a firearms or non-firearms course:

  • A legible copy of a current, valid concealed carry permit - permits must be no more than 5 years old from issue date OR
  • A legible copy of your current, valid law enforcement or active duty military credentials OR
  • A legible copy of a current, valid firearms identification card (FID) - FID must be no more than 5 years old from the issue date OR
  • A Criminal Record Release Authorization Form (BACKGROUND CHECK) *Please create a profile before purchasing and completing a background check*

You may upload your legal credentials by visiting your account page and clicking on the "Personal Info & Legal Requirements" tab. The "Add a New File" option is near the bottom.

Students Discounts

Academy students are eligible for a 20% discount on select firearms in the Pro Shop within 15 days of completing a class. Students are also eligible for a 10% discount on classes when more than one course is selected at a time, or within 90 days of completion of a class - guest instructor courses do not apply. Pro Shop customers can enjoy 10% off classes when they purchase any firearm.

Student Rebooking and Cancellation

Student Rebooking:

If you need to rebook a class MORE than thirty (30) days before your scheduled class date, you may rebook (transfer to another class) one time without any fee. If you need to rebook a second time, the fee is $50.00 for a four (4) hour class or $100.00 for an eight (8) hour class. After a second rebooking no further transfers or refunds are permitted.

If you need to rebook a class LESS than thirty (30) days before your scheduled class date, the fee is $50.00 for a four (4) hour class or $100.00 for an eight (8) hour class. Only one rebooking will be allowed with less than two weeks before your scheduled class date. All rebooking requests must be received no later than the day prior to the scheduled class.

If the rebooking is to a more expensive class, you are responsible for the price difference. If the rebooking is to a less expensive class, you will receive a refund of the price difference.

No rebooking for Guest Instructor courses

Student Cancelling:

If you need to cancel a class more than thirty (30) days before your scheduled class date, you may cancel and request a refund of the purchase price, less 50% of the class price paid. Classes cannot be cancelled less than thirty (30) days before your scheduled class date. Exceptions to these policies may be made on a case-by-case basis, at the sole discretion of the Vice President of the Academy and must be put in writing. SIG SAUER reserves the right to change or amend these policies at any time.

No refunds on Guest Instructor courses, no exceptions.

SIG SAUER Academy Cancelling:

In rare circumstances, SIG SAUER may need to cancel a class. If this occurs, you will be notified as soon as possible and given the option of either a full refund or a move to another course of the same value.

Exceptions to these policies may be made on a case-by-case basis, at the sole discretion of the Vice President of the Academy. SIG SAUER reserves the right to change or amend these policies at any time.
