These courses will test and challenge your shooting skills in a competitive manner.
Whether you are a USPSA, IDPA, Steel Challenge shooter or just want to become a better shooter, Gerry Tetreau, USPSA/IDPA Master Class shooter and retired US Army SFOD-D Operator, will take you through a unique and challenging course designed to provide you with the skills and knowledge to self-analyze your live and dry fire practice sessions to make you a Better Shooter.
Completion of Defensive Handgun Skills (Handgun 104) or any classification in USPSA or IDPA will provide you with the necessary skills to complete this class. Having knowledge of the rules of competitive shooting is preferred but not necessary.
Students failing to meet and maintain our safety requirements and/or who cannot meet and immediately demonstrate the minimum skills required for the specific class may be removed from training. Please ensure you have read through the class description and fully understand our prerequisites before registering.
Starting off each session with the Tetreau Challenge, you will understand how to use the Warm-Up target to self-analyze your progress with pistol shooting fundamentals. We will then break down some basic classifiers to improve on your individual skills. You will leave knowing how to record your training sessions to evaluate improvement. Every class is slightly different with specific drills set to help with identified individual needs.
If you want to increase your draw time, maximize time for reloads, shooting on the move, moving in and out of different positions, understanding how to develop shooting goals, learning the mental game and how to shoot YOUR match; then this course is for you.
